Balanced Mind Refresh
Wednesdays 10:20-10:50 A.M and Wednesdays 12:35-1:05 P.M. & Fridays 12:45-1:15 P.M.
Connect with your own tender heart. This class encompasses loving kindness practices and ways to become more compassionate and empathetic toward others. Be guided step-by-step in opening your heart to the people you love, the people you dislike, and the myriad of people in your life you don’t know very well. These classes are suitable for all ranges of experience from complete beginners through to advanced practitioners. Everyone is welcome!
Balanced Mind Rewind
Mondays 6:30-7:00 P.M.
At the end of the work day, enjoy a combo class of breath meditation, guided meditation focusing on a word or a phrase, and open awareness meditation, all techniques which allow you to be more calm and present in your day-to-day life. These classes are suitable for all ranges of experience from complete beginners through to advanced practitioners. Everyone is welcome!
Balanced Mind Meditation 101
Offered the first Monday every month. 6:30-7:00 P.M
The Balance Mind Meditation 101 class is for those contemplating meditation, but not sure how to begin a practice. Meditation practices have been gaining attention in the west over the past 10 years, and we often hear about the physical, psychological and emotional benefits that meditation can bring. Yet many believe they do not have the time or attention span to meditate, or that their monkey mind is too hyper for such stillness. This class responds to those myths and will help you uncover the mysteries of meditation and how to build a practice. Time will be allotted for questions.
Opaka Method-Moving Meditation
Thursdays 10:45-11:15 A.M.
Moving Meditation- meditation through gentle movement using roll & release balls to massage and relax while guided through a restorative meditation. The balls assist your body to release muscle tightness and tension taking your body into a deep state of relaxation.
