Ashtang Yoga
Wednesdays: 4:45–5:45 pm
Gotthelf Dance Studio
Ashtanga flow level 2-3 is a class for the practitioner with a background in either Hatha or Ashtanga yoga.This method will blend the breath with movement increasing the body’s heat in order to sweat and purify. You will also increase your strength and flexibility. Heather will focus on alignment and muscle engagement, as well as the importance of incorporating the appropriate type of breathing into a strong yoga practice.

Pre-natal Yoga
Prenatal yoga prepares your heart, mind and body for the transformative experience of giving birth and mothering a new baby. No matter what kind of birth you are planning, a regular practice of connecting your breath and body will positively impact your birth.
Classes open with dialogue, meditation, breath work, and then physical practice and poses. Themes relative to labor and birth are woven into class and handouts offered.

Vinsaya Flow Yoga I
Mondays: 11:30 am – 12:30 pm
Vinsaya is the alignment of movement and breath, a method which turns static asana into a dynamic flow. Focusing on fundamental poses in detail, you will gain an understanding, which can easily be built upon to increase your strength and flexibility, develop mind-body awareness and alignment, and learn to integrate breath with movement. This class is great for beginners or those who prefer a slower flow.
